How to Set a Different Header and Footer on a Single WordPress Page

1 min read

Sometimes one page needs to break from the site’s normal header and footer. A landing page might need no navigation at all. A campaign page might need a different footer. Loupely Canvas handles this per page, without affecting the rest of the site.

The 3 choices per page

On any single page, you can choose to:

  • Use the global header and footer, the default.
  • Supply a custom header and footer for that page only.
  • Show none, for a clean standalone page.

How it behaves

The choice applies to that one page, so an override never changes any other page. This is what lets a stripped-down landing page sit alongside your normal pages without compromise. The global pair stays the default, and you reach for an override only where a page actually needs one.
